Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. Manage resources, schedules, and financials and adhere to quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full project life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis, and verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
Responsibilities
Manage strategic, complex initiatives, primarily related to application development, infrastructure and data security
Full project life cycle ownership: from initiation to close for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
Develop and manage all aspects of the project from planning, vendor relationships, communications, scope, estimation, resources, budget, change, risks and quality
Develop and deliver meaningful status reports and metrics to various audiences, including the project team, sponsors, executives and key stakeholders
Analyze project metrics and act appropriately on the analysis
Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
Provide leadership for the project team through motivation, coaching and holding each other accountable
Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
Requirements
3+ years of project management experience including managing Agile projects
2+ years of experience with full product life cycle and an immersion in the SDLC
Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, Scrum or Kanban frameworks
Experience managing highly complex technical projects
Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget
