SUMMARY:
The Bavarian Inn Restaurant is looking for talented bakery decorators for our frosted sugar cookies, cupcakes, and simple house tortes. We are a high volume “made from scratch” bakery primarily focusing on fun seasonal cookies & cupcakes plus traditionally frosted tortes and layer cakes- no fondant. In addition to those items, we also provide occasional customized cakes and other creatively decorated items as ordered. Due to the high production volume of our bakery, speed and attention to detail are a must. Applicants must have experience working with a variety of tools — decorating bags, tips, nozzles — to produce polished piping, flowers/roses, & lettering. Our decorators also assist with general baking and packaging tasks.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (must pass basic math quiz)
- Must be able to walk/stand for entirety of shift (8+ hours)
- Must be able to lift moderate weights up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to work weekends + holidays
- Must have appropriate skill level for Bakery needs including consistent & polished piping, writing, and floral work.
- Creative & artistic abilities for designing & executing requested items
