- Knowledge of course content and learning objectives of assigned course(s).
- Ability to develop and effectively deliver course content/objectives and facilitate an effective learning environment for students to maximize their success.
- Knowledge of computer and educational technology and ability to effectively integrate technology into the classroom.
- Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable working in a close, collaborative manner with other faculty and administration.
Education, Certification, Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree within related field.
- Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree with 1-2 years of related professional work experience, or Training Certificate/Credential with 1-2 years of professional work experience, or Master or Journeyman Card within the field, or Union or Military Training.
Experience:
- One – three years of teaching experience preferred. Or One – two years of related professional work experience.
Working Environment:
- Normal classroom and/or laboratory environments with little, if any discomfort due to heat, dust, noise and the like.
- Course assignments will be on both campuses, and may include both day and night classes, and assignment to courses taught in a high school or online environment, if needed.
- Ability to travel to Harrison and Mt. Pleasant campus locations.
