Responsibilities:
Lead assigned core team activities, establishing priorities when conflicts arise
Escalate concerns to management in a timely fashion for resolution support
Manage the program proactively to ensure timing and objectives are met for all customer milestones
Identify and communicate impediments to the successful completion of program milestones
Interface with required functional disciplines and departments for program support
Ensure adherence to the (PDPLS) and assures completion of all deliverables
Assists with phase and gate reviews
Support master program timing that satisfies customer and internal requirements for product deliverables, cost performance and timing
Facilitate interaction between the company, our customer and plant
Coordinates and maintains communications with our design and operations staff and our customer for all program activities
Escalate risks of any nonconformities relating to the product, process, and system to drive actions for resolution
Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system
Initiate, recommend and provide solutions through designated channels
Verify the implementation of change and follow processes for documenting changes
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science required
3+ years of project management, program management, or other related experience
Prior experience with automotive products, processes, and environment, particularly lighting (exterior/interior), electronics, injection molding, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Ability to interface and effectively communicate with customers and the Methode core team at all levels
Proficiency in structured problem-solving.
Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate level or higher)
Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
Spanish Bilingual preferred
Ability to travel up to 30% both domestic and international
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
