We are seeking 10 motivated nursery workers to join our team. The primary responsibilities include: - Manually planting, cultivating, transplanting, and harvesting trees and shrubs. - Cultivating and tilling soil to prepare for planting. - Clearing and removing debris from land. - Transplanting trees and performing regular weeding and trimming operations. - Tying the tops of trees as needed and cutting trees for maintenance. - Wrapping tree trunks in protective felt to ensure their health. - Preparing and operating digging machines, including sharpening blades. - Organizing materials and preparing, setting, cording, and crimping metal baskets for planting. - Cleaning, grading, sorting, and packing trees onto trucks. - Unloading trees, conducting inventory, trenching, and watering liners daily. - Cultivating soil and accurately preparing and planting liners using setters. - Maintaining and operating the overhead watering system. - Additional tasks include trimming, watering, hoeing weeds, and mowing between tree rows. **Work Environment:** All duties will take place on a farm setting. Please note that allergens such as hay, pollen, and dust will be present. **Requirements:** - Must be able to operate a 100hp tractor. - Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor tasks. Work schedule is generally 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be offered but not required.
