Six housekeepers needed in Gaylord MI as a seasonal operation, we seek to hire dedicated housekeepers. Essential duties and responsibilities: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and managers, Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with head housekeeper, Assist with makibng beds, change dirty linen, clean bathrooms, mop floors, empty garbage baskets, vacuum, move furniture. Wash, fold linen, blankets, sheets.
The salary range for this position is $15.10 to $18.00 per hour. The overtime rate is 1.5 times the base rate rangng from $22.65 to $27.00 per hour. This position required 40 hours per week. Work is usually done Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Weekend shifts may be available depending on the needs of the business. Overtime hours may vary depending on the needs of the business. These are seasonal and temporary full-time positions from April 1, 2025 through November 1, 2025) On-the-job training in the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment will be provided. Overtime is available for each hour worked above 40 per week at one and a half times the hourly baserate. Wages are paid biweekly on Fridays by check. A single workweek is used as the standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law. The employer may make deductions at the voluntary and written request of the employee. Optional housing is available at no cost to employees. No other deductions will be made. Loon Lake Club will pay for the worker's cost of return transportation home and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place the worker departed to work for Loon Lake Club if the worker completes the required period of employment or is dismissed by Loon Lake Club from employment before the end of the period for any reason.
