Position Description:
Our client manufactures 5.2L, 5.0L, 2.3L, and 2.0L engines to support multiple of theirvehicles. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply IT skills to manufacturing and gain experience in assembly and powertrain plants. Responsibilities include supporting IT infrastructure and applications used in vehicle, engine, and component manufacturing. You will also contribute to process improvement efforts in flexible and lean manufacturing, error proofing, and manufacturing execution systems across multiple facilities. The successful candidate will work with a global team to provide technical troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem resolution for plant floor applications and infrastructure, ensuring all manufacturing applications meet the clientsproductivity goals.
Responsibilities:
- Support a multi-shift operation in a manufacturing plant, including flexible hours and weekend production as necessary.
- Provide technical support for IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools to plant business customers.
- Interface with corporate IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts.
- Support plant floor systems and corporate teams in resolving incidents, executing business continuity plans, and providing hands-on support.
- Focus on the integration and long-term maintenance of applications and hardware.
- Manage assignments and workload effectively.
- Develop, maintain, and share accurate support documentation.
- Support local network equipment in a Cisco-based environment.
- Support local servers in both physical and virtual environments using Windows and Linux.
- Assist withdeployments and expansion efforts utilizing IIOT, iOS, software-defined networks, mobile, and Android-based equipment.

This is an on-site position with rotating shifts, including midnights and weekends.
