Our client in Roseville, Mi is seeking a full-time Receiving Inspector to work in their aerospace facility. This is a contract position with the opportunity for direct hire after 6 months. In this role the qualified candidate will be evaluating documentation, performing lab procedures and inspect incoming products.

Responsibilities
- Read and understand work orders, inspection manuals and blueprints to determine inspection procedures
- Inspect products, materials and work in progress for conformance to requirements according to engineering specs
- Test and measure finished products to verify adherence to functional specs
- Mark items for acceptance or rejection, record results
- Read dials and meters to ensure equipment is operating correctly
- Maintain accurate records of received items, including data collection and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 year's experience in mechanical inspection
- Advanced use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable and strong work ethic
