Job Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Application Support/Programmer to join their accounting team in Roseville, MI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application support, and programming with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various technical issues. This role requires proficiency in desktop support, computer management, and networking to ensure seamless operation of applications and systems within the organization.
This is a contract role with the opportunity for direct hire.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and implement custom programs to support the accounting department applications (SharePoint, Epicor, Bartender)
- Maintain existing applications being used including testing and installing updates
- Install new software as required
- Provide ERP technical support for end-users
- Manage computer systems and perform regular updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Analyze system requirements and troubleshoot issues related to software applications.
- Work balance of 40% programming 60% user problem solving, documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in application programming in VB.net, C# and SSRS
- Excel programming including macros, vlookup, pivot tables
- Experience in Visual Studio
- ERP experience - Epicor preferred, Bartender label development
- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
