Tetra Tech's High Performance Building Division is hiring a Project Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team. The Project Assistant will support our project managers and engineers in the planning, execution, and completion of federal / DoD projects as well as commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and clients.
Your Contributions will Include:
Assist project managers in the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines.
Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, reservation of conference rooms and facilitating conference calls.
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, reports, correspondence, and Non-Disclosure Agreements, ensuring all records are accurate, up to date, and properly maintained.
Assist in the procurement of materials and services, including obtaining quotes and managing vendor relationships.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices within the organization.
Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and assist in Federal Small Business reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a Project Assistant role or similar (Administrative Assistant, Contract Administration, ect.).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Adobe.
Collaborative and detail oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and project demands.
Valid driver's license with accompanying safe driving record.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Federal Small Business reporting process.
This role can be performed from a wide range of locations throughout the US. The pay range for this position is between $30.00 - $40.00 an hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on primary work location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal parity.
