A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CNC OPERATOR
As a CNC Operator, you will work in a clean, comfortable environment as you operate numerically controlled CNC machining equipment to perform operations that meet finish requirements. You'll check stock to ensure sufficient inventory to complete the job. You will interpret engineering drawings to ensure all parts are present, interpret measurements, and verify specifications. As an operator, you may be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance on the machines, trouble-shoot malfunctions, and perform basic repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CNC OPERATOR
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
- Organized, accurate, and detail oriented
- Efficient time management
- Effective verbal communication
- Complete training to become forklift certified within 30 days
- Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent
WORK SCHEDULE AS A CNC OPERATOR - 2nd Shift
The typical schedule for this full-time position is Monday - Thursday from 2:30 pm - 1 am, with no weekends!
