We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Commercial Lender. United Bank is searching for driven individuals who are focused on building relationships with our customers. Compensation and official job title will be decided based on experience.
The Commercial Lenderposition is a fundamental position at United Bank. This position is responsible forinterviewing loan applicants. Collects and analyzes financial and related data to determine the general creditworthiness of the prospect and the merits of the specific loan requests. Establishes and negotiates where necessary, terms and conditions which credit will be granted, including the costs, repayment method, and schedule and collateral requirements. Is responsible for all documentation requirements in underwriting the credit decision. Monitors loan repayment activities and takes necessary action to collect from past-due accounts. Develops new business by networking with business professionals, contacting prospects and customers, cross-sells banks services. Must have transportation to meet with clients on or off site. Responsible for areas of compliance as it relates to Commercial Lending. Undertakes special projects relating to departmental services as assigned.
This position requires:
Fifth year college or University Program Certificate
Two to fouryears related experience and/or training, or combination of education and experience;
Register and maintain NMLS Unique Identifying Number
Regular sitting;
Utilizing hands & arms;
Ability to talk & hear;
To have close vision of 20 inches or less.
