This role serves as the leader of the ERP Regional Operation Team, responsible for integration between regional (NA or EMEA) business functions and IT ERP systems, including but not limited to Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and others. The incumbent will work closely with Business Function subject matter experts at the Manager/Director/Vice President level to analyze the business existing processes, identify gaps and opportunities, evaluate technology solution fit, and implement business process and system integration improvements in ERP system. They will be responsible for leading the team to participate in business case/requirement discussion, statement of requirement/work, business blueprinting, system configurations and customizations, system testing, training, solution deployment/launch, posted support, and others.
Lead the ERP Regional Operation Team to support the regional business operations, including new business model, new functionalities, processes and functionalities improvement, business daily operations, issue/problem solving, etc.
Work closely with Business Function subject matter experts at the Manager/Director/Vice President level to establish/expand a good cooperative relationship.
Assist IT ERP director to define the long-term ERP strategy and roadmap.
Plan the regional major projects and improvements related ERP system.
Serve as ERP SME to analyze business requirements and opportunities, evaluate the technology proposal fit, and plan the business model roadmap during the initial phase.
Serve as a Project Manager / Minor Enhancement Owner / SME to execute the project/ME activities according to Yanfeng IOS framework, including project team establishment, project plan definition, As-Is analysis, gap identification, To-Be blueprint design, system configurations and customizations, testing, training, solution deployment/launch activities, posted support, and others. The project and minor enhancement may be cross application systems.
Serve as Level 3 support to support the daily operations and issue/problem solving.
Serve as SME to lead workshops and train Yanfeng IT ERP team members on the concepts, processes, features, and functionality of the ERP projects.
Support product launch project and other related application systems changes.
Complete deliverables on time, within budget, and to a level of quality that is acceptable to sponsors and stakeholders.
Establish positive working relationships with all services lines across IT. And serve as team leader to improve the technical and delivery capabilities of the team.
Lead, motivate and enable co-workers, including capability and knowledge development when needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required; preferably from a spectrum of the following: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar competency.
Extensive experience with two or more of the following process areas and how they relate to QAD/SAP: Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Plan to Deliver, Record to Report, Forecast to Plan.
Demonstrated knowledge of business process improvement, process, and data mapping techniques is preferred.
Functional and technical knowledge related to web-based technologies, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing is desirable.
Good understanding of the Enterprise IT landscape (central, regional, and site/plant level) and how it works for the Business.
General knowledge of the Enterprise IT Infrastructure standards and environment.
Minimum of 5 years experience of project implementation experience on QAD or SAP ERP with a minimum of 3 years recent supervisory (management) experience required.
Familiar with ERP process and related service specification in manufacturing industry.
Experience of customized development for QAD or SAP ECC is preferred.
Management experience with a similar size team (about 4 people) and impact.
Demonstrated ability to work in a global, matrixed organization with cross functional, virtual team members.
Bi-Lingual skills preferred but not required. (English Mandarin, English German, English Spanish)
Have IT security awareness.
