Responsibilities
To provide quality occupational therapy services, including assessment, intervention, program planning and implementation discharge planning, related documentation and communication. Under general supervision of the therapy supervisor, implements treatment programs and organizes and conducts a variety of sensory motor techniques, educational, recreational and social activities designed to help clients regain physical or mental functioning and/or adjust to their handicaps
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy acquired from an Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) accredited program.
* Must be licensed as a Occupational Therapist by the State of Michigan or recent graduates who are within 90 days of obtaining licensure as a Occupational Therapist is acceptable
* Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
* Field work experience or related experience as a Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting is ideal (New graduates will be considered)

Benefits/Health Coverage affected include: Medical/vision, dental, employee and dependent life, accidental death and dismemberment, long term disability, health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts. CTO benefits accrue after 90 days. Short term disability is the first of the month following six months and tuition reimbursement is after one year from date of hire.
