Position: Temporary Cook
Location: Middle/High School
Start Date: November 18, 2024
End Date: December 20, 2024

Details:

• Hours: 4 hours per day, Monday - Friday (9:15 AM – 1:15 PM or as assigned)
  Work required only on days of student attendance.
• Compensation:
  • Union Transfer: Per Master Contract
  • New Hire: $15.10 per hour
  • Note: This position is not eligible for benefits.
• Responsibilities:
  • Prepare foods as directed.
  • Perform kitchen-related tasks, including preparation and cleanup.
  • Maintain production records, food deposits, and other documentation as required.
  • Follow directives from the Food Service Director and/or Superintendent of Schools.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and a minimum 10th-grade reading level.
• Experience in preparing and serving food to large groups.
• Knowledge of the challenges of volume cooking.
• Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain composure and self-control when interacting with students, teachers, parents, and staff.
• Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Meet qualifications as outlined in the job description or as determined by the Board of Education.
