Customer Service Representative
Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing total customer and sales representative satisfaction in order management.
• Providing sales regions with prompt, quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to order entry, converting, order management (date matching, expedites), temp requests, weld warranty replacements, sample orders, and troubleshooting various order inquiries.
• Prompting response to and resolution to sales rep issues (questions, requests, etc.) to the rep’s satisfaction per company procedures and standards.
• Effectively communicating with sales reps, regional managers, and other teams/departments (IBP, Schedulers, AR, Service Parts, Marketing).
• Performing administrative duties, running reports and special tasks/projects associated with support of capital sales business.
• Accounting for the relaying of all communication from customers and sales force to internal teams related to order management and/or the manipulation to the scheduled deliver dates of capital equipment.
• Backing-up to the customer support team when needed.
• Following a standardized order entry process to ensure 100% accuracy for all orders (as defined by the company) that are submitted via phone, electronically or by fax.
• Accounting for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with the company’s specifications.
• Meeting all training and documentation criteria by company, departmental policies and regulatory procedures, identifying and recording all productivity issues or concerns to help root cause problems.
• Building relationships and fostering teamwork with fellow team members, leadership and individuals within other departments.
• Prioritizing and identifying activities and tasks, adjusting priorities when appropriate.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in customer service or a similar role preferred.
• Proficiency with basic office equipment.
• Strong listening, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Intermediate-level proficiency in customer service and interpersonal rapport building.
• Data entry accuracy and ability to type efficiently.
• Ability to multi-task and work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent written communication and customer interaction abilities.
