About this Opportunity
The MillerKnoll Digital team is building customer-centric, digitally enabled business model to reshape the way our collective of brands does business. We're creating frictionless customer experiences through digital solutions across our platforms, and we need a back-end focused Manager of Digital Product Portfolio to help us get there.
This is a pivotal role managing a suite of product teams who are focused on digital systems such as CRM, product data platforms, and our data transformation tools. The focus for this role in the next year will be to lead and support integration efforts of these systems across the collective of brands, championing the product teams developing the solutions. Expect to deliver highly visible outcomes, navigate through ambiguity, and advance our digital product teams to the next level.

Champion the user's needs.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on both internal and external bugs and feature improvements.
Define product features and requirements and lead the implementation of new digital products and/or digital product updates.
Ensure all necessary user acceptance, performance, and post production testing is conducted and documented according to Herman Miller's testing guidelines.
Foster a culture of customer-centered design throughout the organization.
Identify opportunities and trends from the digital marketplace, analyzing relevant vendors and keeping an eye toward our competitive landscape.
Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships.
Work with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to create and customize products, and provide clear communication to stakeholders while adjusting expectations and setting priorities.
Research and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and makes recommendations for how they may optimize current business practices.
Use analytics and customer research to measure product effectiveness and to direct future product development.
Monitor and drive the success of a portfolio of products based on qualified metrics.
Perform the Work Team Leader role, including determining and maintaining appropriate staffing levels, conducting employee development and performance reviews, and maintaining a positive employee relations environment.
Evaluate the performance of existing products, lead meetings to surface issues, identify fixes, and advance product capabilities.
Balance short-term goals and long-term efforts in the allocation of resources and spending.
Travel occasionally in support of business objectives.
Act as an internal consultant to multiple business areas and assist in the identification of process improvement opportunities, practices, and implementation.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

You might be just who we're looking for if you have . . .
A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Eight years of experience in product management, preferably within digital.
Four years of experience participating in functional strategic planning for multiple digital products, leading and managing in-house or external cross-functional teams, prefably within an Agile environment.
A passion for and understanding of digital products and marketplaces.
Experience in requirements analysis and definition.
Advanced understanding of and ability to strategically connect the needs of multiple Herman Miller Group functional areas.
A deep understanding of the contemporary digital ecosystem.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision making and creative concepts.
A history of delivering consistent results with a high attention to detail.
The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
