We are seeking eleven farm workers to perform a variety of tasks, including: - Harvesting corn, soybeans, and nursery stock. - Planting, cultivating, and harvesting vegetables. - Using hand tools such as shovels, hoes, and knives, among others. - Planting roots, seeds, and bulbs. - Spreading plastic or other ground covers. - Cleaning plastic from the ground upon removal. - Tilling soil, weeding, and thinning plants. - Transplanting plants by hand. - Staking, tying, and trellising plants, as well as setting poles and wires for vine plants. - Picking, cutting, lifting, or pulling crops. - Tying vegetables into bunches. - Grading, sizing, and field packing products. - Taking care to prevent damage to produce and plants. - Mowing, cutting, and weeding fields. - Performing ditching, shoveling, hoeing, hauling, ground preparation, and other manual tasks. Physical requirements include bending, stooping, and kneeling. Workers will utilize hand tools, including but not limited to hoes, shovels, shears, clippers, loppers, and saws. Additionally, the job involves lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading products or supplies. Workers will also be required to use power equipment, including but not limited to tractors, planters, mowers, plows, sprayers, cultivators, power shears, chainsaws, high lifts, forklifts, and skid loaders. Safety is a priority, and workers must operate agricultural equipment safely, with or without direction. Other responsibilities include assisting with farm building and field maintenance and repairs, as well as repairing fences. Work will occur in Hamilton, County, Ohio.
