Main duties
- Load material either directly into furnace, or into saggers, and then into furnace.

- Follow load specifications regarding placement of material; monitor furnace for proper time and temperature cycle.

- Need to use lifting equipment, such as cranes and or forklift.

- After furnace cycle, unload material to designated area. If material was loaded in saggers, dump the contents per established procedure.

- Prior to next load, inspect the furnace for repairs, including insulation, bricks, coils.

- Make necessary repairs, or enter work order to maintenance as appropriate.

- Complete all documentation regarding cycle and material.
