Position: Marketing Coordinator I
Employment Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Marketing Leader
Position Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Members First Credit Union in delivering on its mission: To encourage a better tomorrow. Essential Duties
- Develop, implement, track, and optimize marketing initiatives, both digital and traditional, to build brand awareness for the credit union.
- Develop and manage website content.
- Build and manage email campaigns and marketing automation for member journey mapping. Provide insights to relevant team members and suggest engagement improvements.
- This is a hybrid position requiring three days in-office.
Duties and Responsibilities
The following statements describe the general nature and level of work performed by this position. This is not an exhaustive list; other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
- Support content creation, including writing, designing, and editing marketing materials, forms, and video content.
- Create social media content to promote brand awareness.
- Monitor social media accounts, promote products, engage with members, and respond to inquiries.
- Manage lobby TV screens and on-hold phone messages with Works24.
- Conduct marketing research as needed.
- Design print and digital content using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
- Capture authentic imagery for marketing materials and maintain a visual content library.
- Manage targeted product campaigns, including planning, writing, and design.
- Create and update website content, including rate changes.
- Develop content for the M1 Blog, engaging members and communities.
- Assist with youth program content development.
- Be a visible presence in the community by participating in outreach events.
- Complete additional projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to move or transport items up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
Work Environment
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Routinely sanitize workspaces, including teller stations, desks, and equipment.
- Protect confidentiality by securing workspaces when not in use.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of two to three years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Creative Suite/Canva.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and website content management systems (CMS).
