POSITIONS INCLUDE:

Rough End Production Positions:

Rotate every two hours between the following positions.

1. 1 1 /2 saw, responsible to re-rip and neatly stack material that is not wide enough to produce our 2 ¼ product.
2. Responsible to assure proper ripping of lumber through the rip saw.
3. Responsible to keep a constant ribbon of material fed into the flooring machine.
4. Responsible for monitoring of transfer of lumber through a scanner station.
5. Responsible to remove the edgings developed from the ripping process.

Finish End Production Positions:

Rotate every two hours between the following positions.

1. Responsible for the assurance that all pieces of flooring are processed properly so that they received a tongue on one end and groove on the other.  A certain amount of defecting is required.
2. Responsible to determine the grade of the finished flooring.
3. Responsible to assemble the random lengths of flooring into average bundles.
4. Responsible to properly place straps around the bundles of finish flooring, stacking material into pallet form.

Yard Crew Lumber Positions:

Rotate between the following positions:

1. Responsible for the start-up of the stacking equipment. The primary concern is the flow of lumber through the stacking machine to the sticker table.
2. Responsible for making full courses of lumber to the sticker table.
3. Responsible for proper alignment of stickers between layers of lumber to prepare for the drying process.
