Responsibilities:
Material Handling: You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, components, or equipment using manual or mechanical methods such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes.
Assembly and Manufacturing Support: Assisting with the assembly, fabrication, or production of defense-related equipment, components, or structures by performing tasks such as basic assembly, packaging, or operating machinery under supervision.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Performing general cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of work areas, equipment, and facilities. This may include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and basic equipment maintenance.
Assistance with Logistics: Supporting logistical operations by assisting with inventory management, stock replenishment, organizing materials or supplies, and transporting items within the facility or between locations.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. This may involve wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), following safety procedures, and reporting any safety hazards or incidents.
Equipment Operation: Operating basic equipment or machinery, such as power tools, hand tools, or small machinery, under supervision to assist with various tasks as required.
Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and other team members to accomplish tasks efficiently, meet project deadlines, and maintain a positive working environment.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Being willing to take on a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities or requirements as needed to support the goals and objectives of the organization.
