As a System Administrator, you’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly—servers, networks, phone systems, and more. You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, updates, security, and backups. If you enjoy working with Microsoft technologies like Active Directory, MS 365, and VMware, this may be a perfect fit for you.
WHAT WE OFFER.
- $75,000 – $90,000 annual starting salary based on your knowledge and experience.
- PLUS $10,000 sign-on bonus, or use for relocation assistance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Manage and monitor our IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
- Administer and troubleshoot MS Server/Workstations and Microsoft 365.
- Provide friendly and efficient user support—helping with everything from printers to smartphones.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure optimal configurations and tackle any issues.
- Play an active role in our disaster recovery planning and future upgrades.
- Support LAN/WAN networks, working with vendors to maintain a reliable, secure environment.
- Ensure backups run smoothly and are tested regularly.
- Participate in an on-call rotation (yes, sometimes we need you on nights and weekends, but it’s shared and fair).
- Travel to our healthcare system locations, as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Experience with IT systems like DHCP, DNS, MS Active Directory, VMware, and more.
- Professional healthcare IT experience a bonus.
- A knack for troubleshooting and solving problems on the fly.
- Great communication skills, helping both tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy users.
- Certification in IT (such as MCSA, VCP) is a plus!
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to UGLFH locations throughout the region (5 – 10%) as needed.
