C4 Heavy Highway Tractor Trailer Repair is a tractor-trailer repair shop in Bessemer, MI. We service campers, school buses, semi/long haul trailers, crib trailers, log trucks, and fleet maintenance.
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a full-time, on-site role. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, welding, maintaining, and repairing diesel engines and vehicles to ensure they are in optimal operating condition.
Hours can range from 7am-4pm or 10am-7pm.
Qualifications:
- Experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Ability to use various tools and equipment for repairs.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Welding and fabricating on units.
- Understand maintenance repair books.
- Being certified in Welding is a plus!
- Must have a Heavy Duty Mechanic License in the State of Michigan.
- ASE Certified (a plus).
- Must supply your own basic tools.
Specialty tools are provided.
