Stang Family Eyecare is seeking an Optometrist to fill in on an as-needed basis to provide coverage while our current optometrists are out of the office. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who is able to engage with patients in a warm and professional manner.
We are currently seeking a candidate who is able to work a flexible schedule December 2024-January 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all duties associated with primary care optometry, including (but not limited to):
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
- Provide pre- and post-operative care
- Diagnose and treat eye-related diseases
- Promote eye health by counseling patients
- Work with and supervise other team members to ensure all patients receive exceptional service
- Make patients feel comfortable and confident in your ability to serve them
- Be a representative for our practice in a positive manner and excite others about our mission and value
COMPENSATION Stang Family Eyecare offers a competitive salary of $2500-$3000 per week based upon experience.
SCHEDULE This position offers a flexible schedule. This position will fill in as needed on a short-term basis. Currently, an optometrist is needed December 2024-January 2025. Outside of these dates, working hours will be flexible while optometrists are out of the office.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Optometry License in Michigan or eligible to obtain license before December 2024.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the latest optometric techniques.
