The Data Entry/Process/Outsource Associate is responsible for inputting data and making changes to existing data figures in digital databases, assisting with obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, tracking of purchase orders and assisting with ordering the material needed for purchasing.

Essential Functions
1. Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders.
2. Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
3. Update customer information in a database.
4. Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
5. Sends request for quotes out to third party vendors for services.
6. Issues the purchase orders for services and tracks progress of outsourced materials.
7. Verifies material sizes and parts quantity is correct vs. the print and what is required to be build the job.
8. Creates master order sheet
9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Competencies
1. Good Mechanical Aptitude
2. Has a good understanding of Cartesian Coordinate System
3. Basic and Solid Modeling CATIA Training
4. Organization Skills
5. Understanding mechanics of Tool and Fixture Design
6. Understanding of AIAG Standard Geometric Tolerancing and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
7. Familiar with Automotive and Aerospace Tool Design Standards
8. Basic knowledge of Windows
9. Able to follow specific computer related instructions

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday and start time is TBD per supervisor.

Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
College preferred but not required
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Industry experience.
2. Experience with Basic Catia needed
3. GD&T and Blueprint reading skills
4. Microsoft Office Suite.
