Developandmanagesthedirectionanddailyactivitiesofthedivision'smaterialsandserviceswiththefocusonpeople,organization,process,andinformation technology. This includes the S&OPProcess to support the manufacturing / processing cycle and ensuring timely logistical processing of product. Responsible for embracing and driving lean enterprise systems throughout the division supply chain.

Positionwilldirectlyreporttothegeneralmanagerwithadditionalaccountabilitytothegroupsupplychainmanager.Willmanagethecompletematerialcontrol process including procurement, production/inventory control, and transportation logistics. Will interact with all levels of division management including Operations, Sales,Engineering,QualityControl,MarketingandFinance.Willcoordinatebestpracticeswithotherdivisionsupplychainmanagersandthegroupsupplychain manager. Key supplier and key customer contact essential. Direct reports will include division procurement manager, division PC&Lmanager, compliance manager, and logistics manager and supplier development engineer where applicable.Essential Functions:
Manages the materials function within the division considering manufacturing capacity, schedules workloads, recommends in house manufacturing vs. outsourcing, quality control and workforce balance.
Establishesandmaintainspremiercustomerservice.
LeadsallSupplyChainManagementactivitieswithinthedivision.Thiswillincludeestablishingpreferredsupplierselectioncriteriabasedonsupplierevaluations ofprice,quality,delivery,certifications,compliancewithgovernmentalprocurementregulationsandgroupprograms.Willestablishandimplement standard/automatedre-orderprocedures. Willdevelopcrisismanagementandsupplierbackupcontingencyprograms.Negotiateslongtermcontractsincoordination with group staff and policies.
Responsibleforcontinuousimprovementsprogramswithsuppliers.
Responsibleformanagingthedivisionoperationalinventorytoensureadequatestockinglevelsforimmediateproductionitemsandforecastingforfuture requirements.Willestablishandimplementstandard/automateddeliveryproceduresforjustintimesupplierstockingitems.
ResponsibleforfacilitationoftheS&OPProcess.
Accountable for managing the division's overall strategic production planning practices taking into consideration short term/long term production requirements and integratingmaterialsavailability.Willestablishandimplementproceduresforspecialorderrequest,engineeringchangesandpartsubstitutions,andsalesmarket demand for products.
Responsibleforintegratingthedivisionwithelectronicinterfacesthroughoutthesupplychain.
Lead and drive transformational initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic business goals
Managethedivision'stransportationlogisticstoensuredistributionofproductsdirecttocustomers,orthroughdistributioncenters/warehousesarecompletedwith optimum service at the most efficient cost.
Representsthesupplychainatthedivisionlevel.
Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.
5 - 10 year's managerial experience in supply chain management, preferably within the Aerospace industry
4-yearcollegedegreeinbusiness,engineering,ormaterialsmanagementrequiredwithcertificationinsupplychainmanagementpreferred.
Led and executed comprehensive change management initiatives, creating operational efficiency, and streamlining processes
Demonstrates exceptional resilience and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment to consistently meet and exceed performance expectations.
Possessesanalyticalandtechnicalskillsrequiredtounderstandbusinesspracticesandrecommendproperautomationopportunities.
Musthaveadvancedcomputerskillsandbeabletounderstandelectronicdataprocessing.Systems(IT)experiencebeneficial. Excellentwritten,verbal,andinterpersonal,communicationskillsforeffectiveinterfacewithallinternalandexternalcontacts.
Mustbeaninnovatorandembraceleanenterpriseprinciplesandpractices.Practicalexperienceinimplementingleantechnologiesandpractices. Excellent problem-solving skills.
