Position Summary:
The Career Development and Learning Administrator plays a pivotal role in fostering professional growth and enhancing organizational effectiveness through strategic career planning, mentorship programs, and targeted training initiatives. This role involves providing personalized career coaching, designing and implementing mentorship frameworks, and overseeing the development of training materials to align with business objectives. Additionally, the Administrator serves as a key liaison for company-wide apprenticeship and training committees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of administrative experience, expertise in talent development methodologies, and proficiency in leveraging and administering learning management systems (LMS) to drive continuous learning initiatives. By staying abreast of industry trends and best practices, the Career Development and Learning Administrator contributes to maintaining a competitive edge in talent management and employee engagement.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement comprehensive mentorship programs to facilitate knowledge transfer and support career growth.
- Design and execute customized succession planning frameworks for new professionals, enabling clear career development paths within the organization.
- Organize team-building activities to promote collaboration and a positive work environment, enhancing team cohesion and productivity.
- Provide guidance and support to new hires during onboarding, ensuring seamless integration into the team.
- Identify training needs, design programs, and deliver training sessions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Conduct soft skills development opportunities to enhance employee performance in communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Analyze employee performance and conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement, offering coaching and feedback.
- Perform skills assessments to evaluate competencies and identify development opportunities.
- Implement strategies to optimize workflow and improve team efficiency.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the Learning Management System (LMS), designing and delivering e-learning programs.
- Lead and coordinate company-wide apprenticeship and training committee programs.
- Promote community outreach programs and partnerships to support organizational training needs.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in career development.
- Expected to comply with all BWL policies and work rules.
