Job Description:
Working as a Vending Machine Programmer/Technician you will be responsible for tool vending equipment assembly, programming, set-up, and install. You will play a pivotal role with supporting our customers’ manufacturing process & capabilities. We will provide the training needed for you to effectively & efficiently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the tool & MRO industrial vending machines that are located in our customers’ manufacturing facilities. Vending Machine Programmer/Technicians can effectively support our customers remotely via our facility in Burton, MI, but installations and some hands-on repairs will require an onsite visit.
Responsibilities:
*Assemble, set up, program and troubleshoot tool & MRO industrial vending machines
*Once trained, other duties include but are not limited to: calls, cleaning, inventory, and parts organization, and customizing machines
*Communicate with all customer personnel in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
*Maintain quality service levels and process efficiencies while providing for continuous departmental improvements
*Effectively coordinate with Direct Supervisor or Dept. Mgr. regarding customer best practices
*Travel: less than 20%
