SUMMARY: This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced. Other responsibilities include production paperwork verification; production floor checks; performing GMP and housekeeping audits; Responsible for Team Member food safety training. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results coordinating with others. This position is responsible for food safety food quality and legality. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure compliance with quality standards for produced products. * Verify production paperwork and conduct production floor checks. * Perform GMP and housekeeping audits. * Train team members on food safety. * Engage in varied work activities requiring judgment. * Coordinate with others to achieve objectives. * Supervise a small group of personnel performing similar tasks. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor s degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment production of soups sauces or toppings preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP USDA GMP SSOPs. COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries spreadsheets etc. SAP knowledge preferred. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent communication skills verbal and written; bilingual a plus. SUPERVISORY: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks.
