HOURS: PART-TIME POSITION(S); MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS, HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS.
WAGE: $ 13.60 / HOUR
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direction and follow through with all luggage needs for group busses.
- Greet and open doors for patrons.
- Valet park patron vehicles.
- Deliver and retrieve luggage from hotel rooms.
- Follow policies and procedures in regard to patron coats and outerwear.
- Provide general information as available on current scheduled events or departmental inquiries where and when appropriate.
- Perform in a professional manner at all times.
- All other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Previous experience in handling group luggage needs or related field of work.
Knowledge: General knowledge of policies and procedures of the Island Resort & Casino.
Skills and Abilities: Must possess the ability to perform in a decisive and assertive manner that is hospitality related. Must be able to react to sudden changes in schedule of tours and their needs. Must be able to give clear and concise directions. Must present oneself in a mature and professional manner at all times. Must be able to operate both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Luggage carts, hand-held radios, general office equipment and telephone systems.

Must be able to lift and push a minimum of 60 pounds or more with assistance. Must be able to stand for periods of up to 2 hours in duration. Activity level and job demands fluctuate with daily bus schedules.
