The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer occupies a unique role at the intersection of technology, good analytical, data visualization and data mining skills. We provide business leaders with key insight that optimize warehouse hiring using revolutionary HR analytics.
Ability to deep dive a root cause and explain trends and behaviors seen in the data is paramount to our success in supporting the WFS team. As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer with WFS, you will work in providing and maintaining BI solutions delivered on AWS platform supporting one of biggest warehouse hiring companies on Earth. Your daily duties will include formulating, deep diving, solving business problems using AWS, and presenting relevant actionable insights to business leaders. We want you if you are a data driven, customer obsessed motivated individuals who is excited to work on one of the worlds largest hiring datasets solving some of the biggest HR analytics problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data visualization
- Design, build and maintain dashboards
- Respond to ad hoc requests from business leaders to investigate and report root causes to a business problem
- Basic statistical analysis knowledge on how handle data outliers, how to use percentile, mean, median, and relevant analytical techniques to capture important trends seen in the data
- Participate in brainstorming solution solving strategic problems
Job Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience working with large-scale complex datasets
- Strong analytical mindset, data visualization, ability to decompose business requirements into an analytical plan, and execute the plan to answer those business questions
- Expert working knowledge of SQL
- Background (academic or professional) in programming and basic statistics
- AWS experience a plus
- Bachelor degree in math/statistics, computer science.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, equally adept at working with engineers as well as business leaders
