The Janitorial Worker is responsible for cleaning the manufacturing area to effectively prevent the accumulation of debris that would constitute a fire hazard or possibly cause an injury of some sort.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with little or no supervision and do so safely.
- Sweep and clean main aisles and primary workstations in the manufacturing area.
- Empty scrap carts in the manufacturing area.
- Clear debris from around and under major manufacturing equipment.
- As time allows, clean under the tilt hoist and related equipment to prevent an accumulation of debris in these areas.
- As time permits, clean areas not normally done, such as the deck and steps to the Supervisor’s and Maintenance office, the time locker hallway, the hog electric room, etc.
Competitive wages, dependent on experience, $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
