Position Summary
The Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University invites applications for a fixed-term instructor/assistant instructor to teach one three-credit undergraduate introduction to business course in Spring semester 2025. There is a current need for the 2024-25 academic year for a part-time instructor to create and teach a three-credit course on the Foundations of Business: Cross-Functional Perspectives and Practices. Please note that the position is part-time. Renewal may be possible based on department teaching needs, funding, and performance. Salary and terms are negotiable depending on experience and rank.

Minimum Requirements
Required Degrees:
Bachelor’s Degree (minimum needed for title of Assistant Instructor), along with significant experience in business, ideally in different functional areas.
Master’s Degree (minimum needed for title of Instructor), along with significant experience in business, ideally in different functional areas.
Desired Qualifications
A master’s degree along with significant experience in business, ideally in different functional areas, is preferred or a bachelor’s degree along with significant experience in business, ideally in different functional areas. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence and significant work experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Human Resources Management
- Consulting
- Marketing
- Supply Chain Management
- Analytics
- Global Business
- Business Law/Ethics
- Strategic Management
