Dematic Corp has an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant located in the Grand Rapids, MI office. The administrative assistant will provide a wide variety of administrative and staff support services for the VP of EHS and multiple leaders.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Specific Responsibilities:
Act as the point of contact between the executives and internal colleagues.
Manages team meeting, collecting, and preparing information as required, including agendas, presentations, events, etc.
Manages complex scheduling for global leaders, including international travel (flights, hotels, transportation, meeting locations, etc.).
Schedules resources, such as calendar invites, meeting management, rooms and equipment.
Assists in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations in advance of North America and global meetings.
Handles complex documents, reporting, spreadsheets and required.
Takes on special projects as assigned.
Creates reports based analyzing and interpreting data.
Prepares, composes, and edits most complex memos, documents, and other correspondence.
Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary information.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs all the standard and some specialized and complex aspects within area of specialization.
Applies documented rules, past practices, or instruction on an independent level.
Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is difficult or complex.
Experience as an administrative assistant supporting executive level.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and prior experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
Friendly and professional demeanor, able to interact with both internal and external customers.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of vocation/technical training or an associate degree may be required. Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
Knowledge & Experience:
Demonstrates thorough/advanced knowledge of a specialty area and of tasks and responsibilities. Typically, 5-8 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Direction of Others:
May provide general guidance to others and train lower-level employees.
Key Working Relationships:
Frequent inter-organizational and external contacts.
