The Utility Planner position is responsible for supporting the Utility/Refrigeration department while utilizing SAP and Microsoft software. This position will be responsible for creating requisitions, quoting, ordering, and scheduling all parts needed and associated with the utility department. This position will monitor and issue warranty claims on parts, enter repair and breakdown work orders. The team member will monitor the status of open work orders waiting on parts; open work orders for which all parts are available; open work orders for outside contracted services. This position will monitor technicians completed work orders ensuring all parts are charged to correct cost centers and equipment. This position will be expected to maintain and update department equipment, preventive maintenance, and equipment documentation. This position will be required to establish and maintain utility department files, maintain records, and process forms. This position will assist in auditing, updating, and maintaining records relating to SOP's, PSM, PHA, RMP, and technician training. Specific responsibilities include maintaining SAP system data and reporting. Analyzing data for use in maintenance planning and scheduling. Maintaining and developing enterprise-wide best practice preventative maintenance. Ensuring a continuing review of preventive maintenance work orders as they relate to equipment history. Making recommended modifications to optimize equipment reliability and maintenance labor utilization. Learning universal maintenance standards to develop reasonable expectancies for the time to complete maintenance tasks. Identifying and labeling all new equipment in keeping with Tyson standards and keeping records current. Use of Key Performance Indicators to provide fact-based feedback to Utility Manager. This position is responsible for planning maintenance activities and reports directly to the Utility Manager, the position will also work closely with the Plant PSM Coordinator and Engineering team. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Minimum of a high school or GED diploma. Further Training and experience are preferred. Experience: Mechanical, Industrial Refrigeration, and knowledge of parts room procedures and policies is preferred. Previous experience in successful planning and scheduling maintenance management is also preferred. Computer Skills: Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Outlook, Word), SAP, and/or other CMMS is preferred. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: Ammonia Refrigeration and/or PSM related experience is preferred.
