Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Thome PACE - Full-time
Hours: Non-Exempt/Hourly | 40 hours per week | 8 am – 4:30 pm | Mon - Fri

Overview:
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) carries out treatment plans of participants who demonstrate musculoskeletal deficiencies, neurological conditions, balance disorders, and transfer/ gait deficits.
Thome PACE® serves Jackson, Lenawee, and Hillsdale counties providing participants with a wide range of medical and supportive services in our Day Center located in Jackson, Michigan or in the comfort of their own homes.
What you'll do:
- Carries out treatment plans in home and at the Day Health Center.
- Completes documentation.
- Collaborates with the PT including when participants demonstrate an unexpected medical or functional change.
- Attends all required facility meetings and in-services.
- Assists in developing programs to assist participants’ in achieving their highest feasible level of functioning.
- Collaborates with PT to train, supervise, and delegate to Therapy Aides.
- Ability to perform a variety of duties (lifting, push/ pulling) relative to the job.
What it Takes:
- Completion of 2-year Physical Therapist Assistant Program
- At least 2 years' experience
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) state license
- Must be CPR certified
- Must have reliable transportation
- Minimum of one (1) year working with the frail and elderly
