job purpose:
Receive and load milk while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards. Hook up and unload tankers, run quality tests on milk and CIP tankers. Ensure work area is kept in a clean and sanitary condition and responsible for performing regular sanitation within the Raw milk receiving building.
responsibilities:
Ensures milk is received within specifications and meets all food safety and quality requirements.
Responsible for the inspection, documentation and transfer of product being received from supplier to proper designated raw material silo.
Responsible for loading and unloading trucks.
Testing and documenting milk loads.
CIP of Silos, associated lines, and raw milk tankers.
Take proper samples of products for QA testing.
Take proper samples to monitor CIP system for chemical strengths.
Monitor testing equipment. Replace supplies as needed.
Assist maintenance in service pumps, valves and heat exchangers as needed and/or per preventative maintenance schedule.
Develop and train team members.
Report immediately to the foreperson or supervisor of any damage, irregular activity, or unsafe conditions concerning the Fairlife equipment, outside hauler equipment, and/or outside drivers.
Maintain a clean and safe work area. Facility must always remain audit ready.
Follow all company safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Sitting/Standing/Walking/Lifting/Carrying: The operator stands throughout their shift and walks on uneven concrete, tile surfaces, and catwalk over tanker. The operator lifts up to 60 pounds on an occasional basis. Two or more employees complete lifts of greater than 100 pounds.
Pushing/Pulling/Bending/Stooping: The operator occasionally pushes/pulls a variety of objects which may include: The operator bends and stoops throughout the workday, when sampling and hooking up tankers, servicing equipment, picking supplies or waste product off the floor.
Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling/Twisting/Turning: The operator may squat when collecting milk samples, picking up supplies and during cleanup duties, including kneeling on the floor and crawling under equipment. Regularly twisting and turning at the waist while making CIP connections, hooking up trucks for receiving and lowering wash wand.
Climbing/Balancing/Reaching: The operator climbs on approved stairs, ladders, and catwalks over tanker throughout the day. The operator reaches below shoulder level to pick up pipe-fittings from the floor or while servicing product pumps and related equipment. The operator may reach at or above shoulder level when making pipe connections for production/receiving and CIP, equipment adjustments, or during cleanup duties.
Grasping/Manipulation: Frequent use of the hands and fingers is required of the operator when making pipe connections for production/receiving and CIP, servicing pumps, using scrub brushes, and connecting pipe-fittings.
