Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Slot Technician Supervisor, responsible for assisting in the cleaning, repair, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, physical installation, and relocation of slot machines and signage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned slot projects scheduled by Slot Technician Supervisors.
- Secure project area scheduled to be worked on during shift.
- Assist in the basic physical installation of slot machines and slot bases.
- Assist guests with slot machine-related issues in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
- Seek assistance and direction from the Slot Technician Supervisors/Slot Technicians on complex problems and continuing training issues.
- Clean, configure, install, test, repair, and maintain slot machines and related electronic components; maintain documentation on all repairs.
- Wear a department-approved communications device which requires a dedicated ear piece.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and present a positive, professional demeanor and image at all times.

- Contact with associates or organization and outside sources.
- Contact with the general public to assist in customer service pertaining to the Slot Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- One year of work experience as a Slot Technician or work experience in an electronic, electrical, mechanical, or computer maintenance field.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate`s degree in electronics.
License, Certification, or Special Requirements:
- Native American preference shall apply to all positions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of mechanical functions and play aspects of slot machines, procedures, and Casino floor operations.
- Knowledge of slot machines and the electronic data system hardware.
- Knowledge of basic manual hand tool and repair methods.
- Knowledge of electronically mechanical troubleshooting methods and techniques.
- Knowledge and experience using a voltmeter and troubleshooting wires as it relates to slot machines.

- Skills in the use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers associated with tool use and equipment repair.
- Required to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Required to lift, carry, push and pull.
- Required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Work Environment:
- Frequent walking and standing in a smoking environment and contact with the general public. Constant visual stimulation via neon lights on slot machines, repeatedly changing machine video screens, static or flashing signs throughout the casino, and constant machine and crowd noise.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and operation of cleaning equipment.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
- Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
