Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the receiving, storing, packing and shipping of merchandise or materials.
Responsibilities:
Include but not limited to:
- Maintains stock records and schedules
- Responsible for directing, training and motivating hourly UAW employees in a world class logistics facility.
- Responsible for all operations goals and targets pertaining to safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale and the environment.
- Active involvement with the workforce to improve operations through continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Manufacturing experience (2 years minimum)
- Previous Warehouse Supervisory experience (2 years minimum)
- MUST be able to work any shift schedule and/or overtime as needed.
- Should be able to hit the ground running with little supervision.
Preferred:
- Union Environment Experience.
