Job Description/Responsibilities
Support the company's internal controls framework including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, through the analysis and evaluation of control design and operating effectiveness. A working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance with experience in accounting or finance is required. Key personal attributes include: analytical, organizational, results oriented, team oriented, controls oriented, adaptability/flexibility and communication skills.
The Sr. Internal Control Analyst I performs more complex analytical tasks associated with business processes and/or control analysis. These tasks are performed in an independent manner. The Sr. Internal Control Analyst I possesses and applies an in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures within the specialization to complete assigned responsibilities, including leading projects or portions of projects, or be designated as the departmental representative on corporate initiatives.
Requirements/Qualification
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required. One or more of the following advanced certifications is preferred: Masters, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Public Accountant and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor.
The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates education and experience.

Nature of Work
The work performed will tend to be of a complex nature involving knowledge of various functional/specialized disciplines where the work responsibilities can only be proficiently performed after a relatively long training / experience-related time period and often requires an advanced degree. The work environment often includes dealing with risk and limiting exposure.
The work includes facilitation and interaction with senior management. Much of the work is performed independently with increased problem solving and analysis. Making recommendations and implementing is the norm and will often have a major bearing on the company's internal control environment. In addition, skills such as the ability to think on your feet, composure under fire and effective communication across all levels of the organization and with outside stakeholders is required.

Hours and Travel
Some occasional travel required for off-site meetings, training or between company locations. Work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.
