Responsibilities include scheduling clinic appointments, answering incoming calls from participants and family members, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories; preparing exam rooms and patients for clinic appointments; drawing blood, providing medical treatments as directed by the PCP or RN, and maintaining all required documentation for clinic appointments. Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Preferred * Minimum of one-year experience working with a frail or elderly population required. * Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact. * Must have a valid driver's license and have means of transportation. * Computer experience and ability to learn new programs. Data entry * Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job without harm to self or others. Essentials: * Schedule and confirm patient appointments * Call to remind participants of appointments and any appointment instructions as needed * Compile and record medical charting, reports, and correspondence, utilizing the appropriate computer software. * Answer telephones, enter telephone messages electronically and transfer call to appropriate staff. * Receive and route messages and documents such as laboratory results to appropriate staff. * Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff. * Will ensure rooms are stocked appropriately and ordering list is kept up to date. * Will coordinate with clinic staff to ensure adequate supplies are stocked and inventoried in the clinic and order items as needed.
