Gogebic Community College seeks candidates for full-time tenure track, faculty position to teach CDL courses beginning Spring semester 2025. This position reports to the Vice President of Academic Services and would be located at the Ironwood Campus. We seek a candidate with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, someone with the ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning, current CDL licenses, and one who possesses knowledge of the trucking industry's practices and FMCSA regulations.

The successful candidate should not only have a strong instructional skill set but also be willing and able to help develop and implement a sustainable future vision for the program. Knowledge of and ability to pass state and federal certifications and requirements are needed to be successful in this position.

Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a Class A CDL unrestricted license.
- Ability to pass all State of Michigan requirements.
- Ability to pass all Federal/FMCSA requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years Prior/verifiable Class A experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a U.S. Department of Education regionally accredited college or university.
- Experience teaching at a community college level.
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Familiarity with student outcomes assessment.
