JOB DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:
- Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, robots, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment.
- Troubleshooting electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, running electrical conduit, and read electrical prints.
- Performing equipment installation, PMs, and completing assigned projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining & supporting all equipment in Production Environment and other areas as required.
- Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.
- Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
- Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.
- Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in system.
- Complete all required and applicable training.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be willing to work any shift on short, but reasonable notice.
- Must continuously improve and develop skills/knowledge.
- Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
- Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.
- Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift
- Excellent attendance and steady work history.
Experience and Education Requirements
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
- Industrial automotive experience (Preferred).
Job and Physical Requirements
- Able to work on 2nd shift (Mon - Fri, 2:00pm - 10:00pm).
- Ability to lift 30lbs.
- Ability to safely access vertical areas via stairs or ladder.
- Ability to safely work with Power Tools.
- Standing or walking 6-8 hours to assist production.
- Bending, Pushing, & Pulling.
Pay Details: $32.62 per hour
