Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm, M-F
Position required for onsite work in Fraser, MI only
WHAT YOU WILLL DO:
Follow all applicable procedures, work instructions and policies for Production.
Program, set up, adjust, and operate a numerical Paper Sheeter Machine.
Responsible for sheeting paper according to specified dimensions.
Performing quality checks to make sure paper meets the high-quality standards of the company.
Ensuring quality paper is produced at maximum productivity.
Responsible for machine maintenance, blade changes, and troubleshooting.
Responsible for transporting large paper rolls using a forklift and Pallet jack.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and all safety regulations.
Re-cut paper to specific dimensions using a Guillotine paper cutter.
Packaging of the paper using an L-bar heat seal machine.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and procedures.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and quality.
Good organizational skills, Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to learn how to operate a numerical programed paper sheeter machine.
Team player with a positive attitude. Good trouble shooting skills.
Production/Manufacturing skills preferred.
Ability to perform and understand basic mathematical calculations.
Act in a manner consistent with company values and attitudes.
A willingness to learn new functions outside the scope of the operator position.
Willingness and ability to learn how to operate a Guillotine cutter and an L-bar plastic heat seal machine.
Enter dimensions correctly into the sheeter.
Correctly set up upper slitters and piling machine area.
Correctly feed paper through rollers and adjust tension.
Set up the correct operation of roller brakes.
Read and accurately follow special work instructions.
Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Ability to push, pull or lift heavy weights using pallet jacks.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift and move arms and hands freely.
Ability to stand for most of an 8-hour shift.
Work in moderate temperature levels.
High School diploma or GED.
Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.

MACH Paper Sheeter machine.
Guillotine paper cutter.
L-bar plastic heat seal machine.
Forklift and Pallet Jack.
Measuring devices.
Tape measure.
Wooden Pallets.
