This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is being used for face to face and/or online instruction. However, the candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2023 at the earliest and January of 2024 at the latest. Position Type: Faculty - Temporary & Continuing Required Education: Qualification by Credential: Master's Degree in Heavy Equipment or Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline OR a Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in Heavy Equipment or Automotive Engineering or related discipline. Required Work Experience: Required experience is relevant to degree and experience. See Required Education. Required Licenses and Certifications: Physical Demands: Office Environment Moving Sitting Standing Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: CDL Class A, Air Brake Endorsement, Haz-Mat Endorsement, or ASE Certification Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct courses in the Heavy Equipment Technology program.
