TITLE OF POSITION: Executive Suite Assistant

STATUS: Temporary, Non-exempt
DEPARTMENT: Executive Suite
LOCATION: W.A. Lettinga Campus
REPORTS TO: EVP-Enrollment Mgt/Student Affairs/Services
SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for providing administrative front desk support for the Executive Suite. We are looking for someone who has a bright personality, and a love for working with people. In addition you will have the opportunity to work side by side with the executive team on special projects and assignments, learning and growing your own professional skills. Due to the highly visible nature of this position, business casual attire is required for someone in this position.
*Our current opening is for the following hours:
Hours Available
7:30am—3:30pm, Monday through Friday
Preferred Hours
Mondays 8:00am—3:30pm (at least until 12:30pm)
Tuesdays 8:00am—1:30pm
Wednesdays 8:00am—3:30pm (at least until 12:30pm)
Thursdays 8:00am—1:30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Greet visitors to the Executive Offices, and alert staff to the arrival of their guests.
• Work on special projects as assigned by the EVP staff and President.
• Provides GREAT customer service, anticipating and exceeding the needs of our customers.
• Demonstrate and promote the University Cultural Values.
• Understand and abide by all external and internal regulations and policies. This includes NCAA, GLIAC and national affiliations associated within athletics or other role specific regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to function in a highly professional manner.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours as an undergraduate student or 3 credit hours as a graduate student while meeting the standards of satisfactory academic progress.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately and effectively with technology.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both written and oral which transcend diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and relate well to students, parents, faculty, staff, and others while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
• Demonstrated motivational and problem solving capabilities with a high degree of integrity, ethics, and dedication to the mission of the University.
