Burcham Hills is an upscale senior living retirement community located in the backyard of Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. We currently have a vacancy for a Dining and Retail Supervisor to work a Flexible Full-Time schedule. The shift times would vary between 6:00am-2:30pm and 11:15am-7:30pm. In this position a Dining and Retail Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of the dining room personnel to provide excellent service to residents/clients, as well as maintain excellent sanitation standards and in addition to but not limited to the following duties:

• Customer Service: Oversee resident meal service.
• Sanitation: Monitor quality assurance activities and perform audits as scheduled/directed.
• Teamwork: Ensure dining room severs carry out assigned duties and communicate effectively.
• Ensure paperwork is maintained and available for staff.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new dining room attendants.
• Assist with ensuring adequate numbers of employees are scheduled to cover shifts.
• Ensure special functions are set up according to food requests.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
