Performance Measurements
- Ensure the department is providing professional, timely, personal service to all members and associates by responding to all messages and correspondence within 24 hours.
- Develop and maintain a highly qualified staff possessing knowledge of all mortgage products and rates, both with the credit union and the industry as a whole
- Ensure all mortgage lending activity is compliant with established policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure the department meets or exceeds established goals and that direct reports achieve their individual goals.
- Inform Senior Leadership regarding key operational issues affecting the department.

- Move or transport items, equipment and tools up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during work hours or must be able to remain at a workstation for long periods of time.
Work Environment
- Must maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Routinely clean and disinfect work areas (i.e. teller stations, desk surfaces, phones, electronic equipment).
- Protect the confidentiality of credit union staff and members by locking door or removing items from desk/workstation when away.
Education and Experience
- Three to five years of Residential Real Estate Lending or related experience
- (1)A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., Residential Mortgage Lender Certificate in lieu of a degree).
- Knowledge of the secondary market and experience with first and second mortgage, residential real estate lending; must have proven track record of selling and servicing loans.
- Three to five years of credit experience with a financial institution
- Three to five years of experience supervising and training multiple employees
- Must possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
