Custodian
REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager
SUMMARY:
Position will be responsible to maintain a clean and orderly manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways and stairs.
Cleans plant restroom(s).
Keeps restroom supplied with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
Clean break room as necessary.
Empties trash and garbage containers.
Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting when required.
Washes the inside windows of the plant as needed.
Notifies management concerning need for major and minor repair to the facility.
Empties the sawdust for the cells as needed.
Dusts the storage racks as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
